On this week’s Whatever Happened To Vic Diaz? we look at Vic’s final film: the somewhat controversial Yamashita: The Tiger’s Treasure from 2001! Enjoy the exciting(?) exploits of Jobert and his grandfather as they track down trillions in gold hidden by the Japanese during WWII, while an aged Japanese general (played by Vic Diaz) is hot on their trail. Except it’s much worse than that sounds! Let’s check it out.

We’re once again wondering WHATEVER HAPPENED TO VIC DIAZ? in 1965’s OPERATION C.I.A., which features Burt Reynolds as Mark Andrews, an agent sent to Saigon (here played by Thailand) as the Vietnam war is heating up in order to stop an assassination. While this Bond-inspired spy film from director Christian Nyby is pretty uneventful, it features a great supporting villainous turn from Vic Diaz, and some two-fisted fun from a mustache-less Reynolds. LET’S WATCH!

FLASH! AHH-AHHH! On this episode of Whatever Happened to Vic Diaz we jump ahead to 1988 and this Eddie Romero-directed action movie (with quite a bit of broad comedy) starring Flash Gordon himself, Sam J. Jones. It also features some absolutely horrible audio, some unique computer hacking, and lots and lots of explosions. Also, Vic Diaz shows up! Check it out.

Watch the movie for free (with ads) on Tubi.tv.
